Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands DLC Season Pass Contents Announced
Gearbox has revealed the contents of the inevitable season pass that will be accompanying Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The pass will include four post-launch content drops, including four new Mirror of Mystery scenarios, a seventh class, and the Butt Stallion Pack with extra cosmetics.
When will the DLC be released?
The first post-launch content drop will be released on April 21 and will introduce the first of the new scenarios. Each of the four scenarios begins in Dreamveil Overlook, a fairground in the heart of the shadows. Here a fortune teller called Vesper oversees the Mirrors of Mystery. Enter through the mirror to be placed into a scenario where players need to beat five levels that conclude with a new boss encounter. The scenarios are designed to be replayable with the boss becoming more difficult with each playthrough, but vanquishing the boss rewards Lost Souls that are the currency needed to be able to spin Vesper’s Wheel of Fate. Rewards from the Wheel of Fate include Legendary weapons, gear and items.
Once a scenario is completed, the levels and boss will be added to the Chaos Chamber, Wonderlands’ endgame scenario. This procedurally-generated dungeon gives players the option to choose their difficulty before facing three randomized levels full of enemies and traps, a mini-boss, three more randomized levels, and a final boss. Players have three lives to complete the dungeon, and doing so rewards weapons, gear and Moon Orbs, which can be spent at the Enchantment Re-roller station in Brighthoof.
The fourth content drop will also introduce an unannounced seventh class. As well as adding a Class Feat, two Action Skills and a brand new skill tree, this will add more options for those wanting to mix and match using the Multiclass system. At some point, Season Pass owners will also get the Butt Stallion Pack that includes the Diamond Guard Armor Presets (three items), the Crystal Glitter Makeup Pack (five items), the Adamant Throne Banner Set (two items), and the Diamond Hero Statue Material.
Each of the four content drops will be available for separate purchase, although it’s unclear whether the Butt Stallion Pack can also be purchased separately. The Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Season Pass will be available from the PlayStation Store or as part of the game’s Chaotic Great Edition.
In other news, the development of Elite Dangerous has ended on consoles following the rocky launch of the Odyssey expansion on PC. Elsewhere, Elden Ring has beaten Horizon Forbidden West to be the top download on the PlayStation Store for February 2022.
