The Last of Us Part 2 Mod Turns Ellie Into Bella Ramsey
With The Last of Us set to launch on HBO this weekend, fans are already drawing influence from the show to create mods for games like The Last of Us Part 2, and one of those mods has turned Ellie into Bella Ramsey. However, Joel’s TV show actor Pedro Pascal is yet to receive the same treatment.

The mod was created by Playground Games character technical artist Alejandro Bielsa, otherwise known as Vontadeh. To put Bella Ramsey into the game, Vontadeh modified “the “neutral” shape of Ellie’s face to a sculpt I did of Bella’s likeness”, but this isn’t perfect. The character’s expressions couldn’t be modified so Ellie’s likeness “seeps through when she’s emoting” and there are some lip deformations. Even still, the mod is quite impressive and can be seen in action in the trailer above (thanks Eurogamer).
Bella Ramsey’s appearance in the game seems all the more appropriate bearing in mind the show’s second season will tell the entirety of The Last of Us Part 2. For now, viewers can watch the events of the first game retold in the HBO TV series when it begins airing on January 15.
