PSVR 2 Not Turning On Error Caused By Loose Power Cable
There’s been a lot of concern amongst players today after they found their PSVR 2 headset was not turning on, but the good news is that there is seemingly an easy fix. The cause of the issue for many PSVR 2 owners is that the power cable had become loose in transit and can easily be resecured without a lot of effort.
How to fix the PSVR 2 not turning on error
If the PSVR 2 power cable is loose and the headset won’t turn on, players should be able to easily trace the cable as it goes into the headset. The cable goes through the front headband to plug into the front of the headset. All players need to do is to push it further in so the cable is secure in its fitting. Reddit user cwpdx created a great diagram to show exactly where you need to look.
The loose cable is not something that players should be worried about once it is firmly reattached. The cable is made to be detachable and replaceable in case it gets damaged or for easier storage and this is not a design flaw. Many have been enjoying their new headset and the games that have launched today. Sony has now confirmed there will be more than 40 games released during the launch window with 100 more titles in development.
