Minecraft Dungeons has reached 15 million players
Microsoft and Mojang have announced a new milestone for the entertaining Minecraft Dungeons as it has now exceeded 15 million players since its launch in 2020. The action-adventure Minecraft spin-off can be played solo or with your friends and has had a few additional paid expansions post launch. Because the game has reached the 15 million players milestone, Mojang has revealed that they are holding the Festival of Frost event today until the 22nd and it is set to entice players with new challenges and rewards set in an icy ambiance. You can read more about the Festival of Frost along with a fresh new trailer down below.
“Starting today and until February 22, players can participate in the Festival of Frost, featuring a smorgasbord of chilly challenges! Avid Tower runners will discover that their favorite tall structure has been outfitted with new frost-themed floors. In addition, seasonal trials from the Chills and Thrills event will make a return, offering players who missed out on last year’s event the chance to experience all the fun. And, saving the best for last, to commemorate this occasion, every player who logs into the game after February 8 will receive the “Iceologer Cape” reward as a thank you for being part of our ongoing journey!”
