Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores Introduces Aloy’s New Companion
The Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores expansion will introduce Aloy to a new companion, Seyka. Players can expect to spend a lot of time with this new ally, as they explore the ruins of Los Angeles.
Introducing Horizon Forbidden West Seyka companion
Details of Seyka can be found in a recent PS Blog post in which the new DLC is further explained. Developer Guerrilla Games describes her as “an ambitious marine who has stepped up to help her people survive.”
The post goes on to explain how “Aloy will spend a lot of time with her throughout the story and rely on her help in many situations – a position she doesn’t often find herself in.”
Seyka’s personality is also teased: “Confident, compassionate, and fierce, Seyka’s quite unlike anyone Aloy has ever encountered, and she plays an important role in the next chapter of Aloy’s journey.”
Players won’t have to wait long to meet Seyka for themselves as the Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores expansion is set to launch on April 19.
Those looking forward to meeting Seyka will need to ensure that they’ve beaten the main story missions, as that’s a requirement for starting the new DLC.
As for what’s next for Horizon, a multiplayer spin-off could possibly be in the works and may feature cartoon aesthetics.
