How long is Halo Infinite campaign?

  • Main Story: The complete campaign of the most recent member of the series takes about 20 hours. On the other hand, if you want to focus on the main story only; the title offers 10 hours of gameplay.

What is Halo Infinite about?

The first-person shooter is developed by 343 Industries and it is the sixth installment of the Halo series. The plot of the game revolves around Master Chief, a human supersoldier also known as John-117 as he tries to neutralize Cortana, his former partner.

Players get to play as Master Chief and battle against the enemy on an installation called Zeta Halo. Let’s note that the title follows Halo 5: Guardians as well.

Who is Master Chief again?

Master Chief is one of the most iconic video game characters in the world of gaming. He is a supersoldier who is also known as SPARTAN-II. As the commander of UNSC Naval Special Warfare Command, he is the main character of the Halo games.

He is also known as John-117 and sometimes called “Chief”. His homeworld is Eridanus II and his SPARTAN tag is 117. Chief has been one of the most influential soldiers in the United Nations Space Command and emerged victorious from countless battles.

In the latest mainline entry of the franchise, he goes on a quest on Zeta Halo, a mysterious installation inhabited by Banished.

Who is Cortana?

Cortana is one of the main characters in the popular video game series. She is an advanced artificial intelligence and she appears throughout the games as an assistant to the Master Chief. Cortana is actually a construction of Dr. Catherine Elizabeth Halsey‘s brain identity, who is the creator of the supersoldier project.

With every game, the bond between Cortana and Master Chief gets stronger. Some titles in the franchise particularly focus on the relationship between the two characters. After the events that took place in Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians, Master Chief goes on a dangerous quest in Zeta Halo.
