Ghost of Tsushima Sales Cross 8 Million Copies Worldwide
Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sucker Punch Productions have announced that Ghost of Tsushima has sold more than eight million copies worldwide since its initial release in July 2020. The last sales update we received was back in November 2020, when the company revealed that five million players had liberated the island of Tsushima within four months.
“We’re thrilled and amazed that Ghost of Tsushima has officially sold more than 8 million copies!” Sucker Punch gushed. “Thank you so much to everyone who has played since launch! We are so incredibly appreciative and grateful for the support!”

Is Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut Worth the Price of Admission?
Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut comes packed with PlayStation 5-specific enhancements and a new narrative adventure set in the Iki island. To sweeten the deal, Sucker Punch added some new gameplay features and surprises worth discovering yourself. And let’s not forget the Legends mode! That’s why in our review, we recommend the purchase especially if you’ve yet to embark on the samurai adventure.
In other news, rumor has it that an upcoming PlayStation Studios game will be similar in style to Metal Gear Solid V and Splinter Cell. And while we still have some glimmer of hope for Syphon Filter, we probably won’t get a sequel to DriveClub.
