Dying Light 2 Free DLC Starts Today
Dying Light 2: Stay Human players have started receiving their free DLC today with the appearance of the first part of the Authority Pack on the Playstation Store. At the same time, those who decide to watch Twitch streams of the game can sign up to receive Twitch Drops of weapons and equipment in their game.
What is the Dying Light 2 free DLC?
The first part of the Authority Pack has released today for Dying Light 2 and can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store for PS5 and PS4. This part includes the Intimidating Jacket, the Intimidating Cargo Pants, and the Intimidating High-tops. The Authority Pack will be released in three parts with two further parts to come at some point after today. By the time players have collected all three parts they will have a full outfit and a “unique hammer”.
Those wanting further free weapons and masks can claim Twitch Drops for watching Twitch streams for set periods of time. To get these, players need to create a TechlandGG account and link it to their Twitch account and PlayStation Network ID. Players then need to watch Dying Light 2: Stay Human streams for the following rewards:
- 60 Minutes – The Extinguisher axe
- 120 Minutes – Timeout machete
- 180 Minutes – Protective Mask
- 240 Minutes – Plated Savage mask
- 300 Minutes – Funkadelic bow
All rewards must be claimed on Twitch before they’ll appear in your game. They can be found in the in-game stash, although players will need to have reached the first safe house by completing the game’s first missions.
In other news, the long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 native version is expected to be released tomorrow during CD Project RED’s Twitch stream. The release may also be accompanied by a major update for other versions. Elsewhere, insurance claims have risen as a result of personal injuries and damaged property sustained while people are playing VR games.
