Call of Duty Is Adding TMNT’s Shredder Later in March
In a surprise out of nowhere, Activision has revealed that Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be tearing his way to Call of Duty within a couple of weeks. Otherwise known as the villainous Oroku Saki, Shredder will be arriving on March 21, though it’s unclear how he will be incorporated into the game.
Shredder is probably a skin, but he could be a Warzone boss

The new 15-second tease showcasing Shredder’s armor and his diabolical laugh at the end doesn’t say much on what players should expect. It’s likely that he’ll just be a skin for an operator in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone, like Rambo, John McClane, Judge Dredd, and Leatherface before him. But it’s possible that he might be a Warzone boss. Of course, he wouldn’t be nearly as gigantic as King Kong or Godzilla from a prior community event, but he would be a formidable commander on the ground.
This reveal of Shredder could also point to a TMNT crossover event of some kind. Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo would be cool skins for Call of Duty too. In fact, back in 2021, Warzone added the sai as a weapon in Season 5 Reloaded, inspiring some fans in the CoD community on Reddit to create a Ninja Turtles squad challenge.
Sony has suggested that Call of Duty games in the future could be made deliberately buggy on PS5 and PS4, while Microsoft insists that its potential merger with Activision would not persuade PlayStation players to switch to Xbox.
