Blizzard Giving Out Diablo 4 Beta to Fans Who Get a Tattoo After Ruining Franchise with Immortal
In a very early 2000s move, Blizzard is teaming up with tattoo artists in a series of events it’s dubbed “Hell’s Ink.” Winners of a competition on social media will receive custom tattoos from a respected name in the industry. The contest winners have already been chosen, but anyone can show up to the event and queue for a chance to get a Diablo flash tattoo. Everyone who gets one also receives a card guaranteeing access to the upcoming Diablo 4 beta and a free digital copy of the full game when it releases.
If you get a Diablo tat, you’ll get access to the Diablo 4 beta and a copy of the game

Unfortunately, getting a Diablo tattoo is a lot less appealing now than it was before June 2. Diablo Immortal has been universally panned for its predatory microtransactions. Diablo 4 looks like it’s shaping up to be good. However, Pandora’s Horadric Cube is open now, and I’d be shocked if Blizzard didn’t include microtransactions in that game too.
The first Hell’s Ink even took place in LA on July 16. However, if you’re keen on getting a Diablo tattoo (or just want guaranteed access to the beta), there are seven more Hell’s Ink events happening from the end of June until early September:
- July 23: Chicago – Mayday Tattoo Co.
- July 30: New York City – Inked NYC
- August 6: Miami – Till The End Tattoos
- August 13: London – Noir Ink Studio
- August 18: Berlin – Das Kabinett Studio
- September 3: Melbourne – Oculus Tattoo
- September 10: Sydney – Little Tokyo Tattoo
Patrons will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis, so get there early if you want to get tatted up. More details on the promotion and each venue are available on the official website.
In other news, the Multiversus trophy list looks to be a grind, and PlayStation 1-to-1 Twitter support ends on August 1.
