Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Mastery Challenge Pack 2 Free DLC and Update Next Week
New content continues to arrive for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla as players can expect another free Mastery Challenge Pack to arrive next week alongside the first of two title updates. Ubisoft has revealed a roadmap for the game that covers the rest of April and May.
When will Mastery Challenge Pack 2 be released?
The free Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Mastery Challenge Pack 2 will be released on April 19. Title Update 1.5.1, the first of two to arrive over the next couple of months, will also hit PS4 and PS5 on the same day. The game will get another title update (1.5.2) in May and in the same month, there will also be a new game feature: the Armory building. Details on the upcoming challenge pack, the updates, and the Armory will likely be revealed closer to the release date.

Towards the end of next week on April 21, the Ostara Festival will return. Last year the Easter-themed activities included a settlement decoration activity, three new character quests, three new skills, rewards exclusive to the event, and Drinking, Archery, and Fighting mini-games. Ubisoft hasn’t mentioned whether the event will be exactly the same as last year or whether there will be new content, but we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we hear more.
The game’s second year of content is expected to continue until November but what will happen then is unknown. Ubisoft has confirmed the development of Assassin’s Creed Infinity but this title is quite a way off from being released. In the meantime, rumors are speculating there will be another title hitting consoles before that; Assassin’s Creed Rift was originally supposed to be a Valhalla expansion featuring Basim but was spun off into its own game.
In other news, PSVR game Swords of Gargantua will be left unplayable when its servers are closed in September. Elsewhere, No More Heroes 3 will be released on PS5 and PS4 later this year.
